PORTLAND’S DRIVE-BY FLOWER TOUR

Portland's beloved Mayesh (one of our favorite flower wholesalers) has been forced to temporarily shut their doors and lay off their employees due to the impact of COVID-19 on their business. They have generously given local florists an abundance of flowers that would have otherwise been thrown away. Our thought is to utilize these blooms to make the greatest impact in the city and in the hearts of the people by creating urban floral installations for a drive-by tour of each florists' creation. Attached you will find a map outlining where each florist has designed an installation with their business name and website included.

Floral installations will be complete by midafternoon today (March 22nd)! Check each florists’ instagram for up to date status reports.

A word from Jocelyn, a Portland Mayesh representative:

“Flowers are my life and a HUGE part of my identity, not in my wildest dreams did I ever expect my company to have to close their doors temporarily and in such a short amount of time! It was weighing so heavy on my heart to see all those flowers go to waste so I proposed the idea to come in and box flowers for people to come take off our dock, not coming in and keeping a safe distance! The idea is to do flowersbombs, make bouquets or just leave stems out for people to take and to spread some cheer around Portland and Washington”
